60 16:09:11 eng-rus idiom. you done been got Тебя поймали (It's not standard English, but that doesn't make it wrong per se. This sentence is combining two non-standard grammatical elements which show up in certain dialects in order to say something funny. Using "done" as a helping verb instead of "have/has" in present perfect style sentences. In certain rural American dialects and AAVE you'll find this structure. Ex: I have given it to him --> I done gave it to him. He has gone to work. --> He done went to work. Notice also that the main verb is in the simple past form rather than the standard past participle form -- and this is probably because the sentences are a past tense form rather than a present tense form like the present perfect. More info here: https://ygdp.yale.edu/phenomena/perfective-done Using "got" to form a passive. This structure shows up in many English dialects (maybe all of them?). Instead of using 'to be' to forma passive verb, you can use "get." He was killed --> He got killed. They were married. --> They got married. The book was burned. --> The book got burned. More info here: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/grammar/british-grammar/get-passive So, putting these things together, we get: You done got got. You've been got. (changing the "done" into standard present perfect) You were got. (but it really should be a past tense anyway) Somebody got you. (make it active instead of passive) But what's that mean? Here "got" means tricked or outsmarted or took advantage of, etc. Another way to say this: You've been had.) shapker
